USAID GEMAP Produces Documentary to Reach Global Audiences

GEMAP_videoAs GEMAP nears its end, USAID sponsored the production of a documentary on GEMAP as a reflection on the key successes achieved, challenges faced, and lessons learned in this unique collaboration between the international community and Liberia.

The documentary discusses GEMAP as a model for building economic governance in post-conflict environments. Outlining the key components of GEMAP, it tracks progress at the government institutions GEMAP assisted since 2006 and portrays the impact achieved.

The documentary is intended to reach global audiences as a sample of exemplary partnership between international community and a host country. It is for wide distribution across the global development community, and will be used by USAID in trainings and workshops on building economic governance in developing countries.
